Daily Webcasts

Whilst the schools are closed, a whole host of celebrities are offering webcasts with a variety of activities and lessons through their Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter feeds. We wouldn't suggest watching all of them every day (your eyes would go funny!) but there's a good selection here to dip in to.

9.00 am

PE with Joe

9.30 am (Monday and Wednesday)

Local choir, Vocallective will have two singing lessons a week for children on their YouTube channel.

You will need to sign up to the website, but these sessions and resources are available for free whilst schools are closed.

11.00 am

Elevenses story time with David Walliams. Every day, David will be sharing a story from his book, The World's Worst Children.

11.30 am

Oti Mabuse and her dance partner, Marius Lepure have a daily fun dance class for kids.

1:00 pm

Myleene's Music Klass is a short daily video exploring an aspect of music such as rhythm or the difference between major and minor.

4:00 pm (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

Chef, Theo Michael will publish his ingredients list the day before and then host a live cookalong session.

(Tuesday, Thursday)

Illustrator Rob Biddulph is releasing a new How to draw... video every Tuesday and Thursday with a fun new cartoon character each time.

More celebrities have talked about releasing videos or streaming live content in the weeks ahead. We'll keep our eyes open and update this page as we spot things. If you see something that you think we should be sharing, please email us and let us know.
